Redshank

 Redshank
A common wader with instantly recognisable red legs.

Curlew

Curlew
The photographs show part of a large group of curlews. It is thought that there were around 250 of the birds there at the time. One of the images shows a species of duck in with the curlews. I apologize for the poor quality image.

Avocet

Avocet
The photographs show an avocet flying at a Canada Goose. This behaviour is common in avocets, and, because of this, at one location, they have been dubbed 'exocets'!
